Homeostasis Just one Back

When you go climbing in the Alps, you are bound to encounter its unpredictability aside from your own unlimited wishes and often very limited physical capabilities. It creates a kind of edge. It puts a lot of stress on my senses to be perched at great altitudes alongside my climbing buddies – for whose safety I am responsible.
I am constantly looking for balance, while everything seems to be moving. I move when I ook for the way up, a way onwards, and while it seems to have taken a lot to get me there, it is nothing compared to the huge displacements required to shape those rocks. Yet I feel as aware of its great movement as my own. Homeostasis is a series of photos about my search for that balance, that equilibrium. |
